Do Your Bit was launched to bring together the Amicorp family worldwide. The campaign supports the Amicorp Community Foundation (“ACF”) and its impactful projects, while also encouraging employees in every office to support local causes they care about most. By blending global reach with local relevance, Do Your Bit ensures that everyone’s effort whether in Luxembourg, Curaçao, or Singapore feeds into a shared mission of creating a more just, sustainable, and compassionate world.
Three Simple Ways to Contribute
At its core, Do Your Bit is about making participation accessible. Employees and partners can:
- Volunteer: Dedicate personal time to projects, mentoring, or community initiatives.
- Pledge: Offer professional expertise and skills where they’re most needed.
- Donate: Provide monetary support to strengthen global or local causes.
By giving people multiple ways to get involved, Do Your Bit recognizes that impact is not one-size-fits-all. Everyone has something valuable to contribute.
Mandela Day as a Catalyst
To kickstart this year’s momentum, Amicorp aligned the campaign with Mandela Day, July 18, 2025, a global observance rooted in service. Each office was given 67 minutes to come together and design their Do Your Bit plan for the year ahead. This symbolic act reflects Mandela’s call to devote time to community upliftment and demonstrates how collective planning turns good intentions into tangible impact.
Pledges in Action: Global Inspiration
The response has already been extraordinary. Here is a glimpse of just a few of the inspiring pledges submitted so far:
- Luxembourg: Planting trees as part of AmiForest, combining fundraising with National Tree Day and supporting a local reforestation initiative.
- Curaçao: Hosting a Padel 4 Good tournament to raise funds for Tuma Mi Man, rallying local businesses to support early childhood development.
- Dubai & Abu Dhabi: “LEEDing by Example” with sustainability pledges including a green tour of their LEED-certified office, beach clean-ups, and donations to the Desa Les Community Center.
- Singapore: Collecting books for under-resourced children in Palawan, Philippines, while also donating to a local children’s home.
- Chile & Panama: Chile is planning client engagement for ACF and outreach with children undergoing treatment for cancer and spina bifida. Panama will provide hygiene kits, games, and donations to children in SOS Children’s Villages.
- Mauritius: Teaming up with the Rotary Club and Isla Padel to host a tournament that funds local causes and includes tree planting for environmental sustainability.
- Spain: Hosting a wine tasting and paddle tournament in support of ACF projects, and volunteering for children with rare diseases.
These pledges prove that while each action is unique, together they create a powerful wave of global impact.
