Yasa, a second-batch graduate of Amisewaka – DLCC (DLCC), has now taken his career to the international stage by working at Casa Fruit Co. in Salmiya, Kuwait. For the past three months, he has contributed to this fruit-based culinary business, well known for creative, fresh fruit concepts such as fruit balls, fruit BBQ (fruit skewers), and aesthetically designed fruit presentations for catering and premium events. At Casa Fruit Co., Yasa is responsible for creating fruit bouquets, carving fruits with artistic detail, and producing a range of fruit-based art that is not only delicious but also visually appealing.

Before departing for Kuwait, Yasa worked as a daily worker at Merusaka Bali, a five-star hotel in Bali. This experience laid a strong foundation for his discipline, attention to detail, and professional standards. However, his journey was not always smooth. At times, he reflected and realized he did not want to remain in his comfort zone. With a strong determination to grow and explore greater opportunities, he made the bold decision to work abroad, with the assistance of an official Indonesian overseas employment agency.

During his training at DLCC, Yasa was known as a quiet yet friendly student who consistently performed well throughout the program. He may not have spoken much, but his commitment and seriousness in learning stood out. These qualities gradually prepared him to face the challenges of working internationally. Yasa’s story proves that success does not always begin with grand steps but with the courage to step out of one’s comfort zone, maintain good character, and continuously develop one’s skills. From Bali to Kuwait, his journey shows that opportunities are always open to those willing to grow and move forward.
