Gede Wida Peri Pratama, a graduate of Amisewaka – DLCC, is now making his mark in the international culinary scene, working in the kitchen of Swandor Hotel in Türkiye.
His journey took time, dedication and determination. After completing his studies at the DLCC, Gede diligently built his skills through six-month training programs at Kuta Seaview Hotel and Rama Garden Hotel. This practical experience fortified his confidence and prepared him to take the leap to take his skills abroad.
Gede deeply values the knowledge gained at the DLCC, from cooking techniques and food presentation to understanding the rhythm of a professional kitchen. He attributes his success to a consistent approach: practice, persistence, and dedication.
He encourages current students to stay motivated, reminding them that the results are worth the challenge. Gede also extended heartfelt gratitude to the staff as well as the donors whose continued financial support is essential for students from families with limited means.
Gede’s story is powerful proof that with education, essential skills, and strong determination, young people from small villages can achieve global success.
